AN8-SLI Dosnt like Ballistix

i have an AN8-SLI and right now im running 300 HTT with 333 divider 2T 2.5-2-2-5 with my 2x512mb PC 4000 Ballistix ,i have tried so many things to run 1T and it just wont work,it fails to boot windows.now the very odd thing here is i had set my ram timings to Auto and used uguru software to oc ,and i went upto 300 HTT with 1T timing,so i dunno why it wouldnt work when i set in the in the bios my self.Also i quit using uguru because i heard its crap and unreliable.any ideas on why i may not be getting 1T ? thanx
