I'd take the TriCool from that lot. I also have one, and at medium speed it moves a decent amount of air and is not loud. At full speed it is kinda loud, though.

From those choices I'd take the Tri-Cool. Panalo 120 are excellent fans, Vantec stealths, depends on what kinda air flow you're looking for.

I'd go with a Panaflo. They can be found for under $15. Quiet with better air flow than any of the ones you mentioned. Try looking, in alphabetical order, Bestbyte, Coolerguys, Directron, Ebuyer, Jab-tech, Sidewinder, and Zipzoomfly.

I've got 2 panaflo 120mm mediums. They are kinda loud at 12v, quiet at 7v, and very quiet at 5v. Look around, they can be had for $10.

I'd stay away from the Vantec Stealths. YS-tech, Papst, Nexus, and Yate-loon have also been known to make good quiet fans.

Also, try to get 38mm thick fans. Thicker fans usually make more pressure.

Hey, are those candy-corns you have smashed behind that front intake fan? Lol. Odd choice for silencing, if it is.

I just ordered three of these Evercool fans rated for 80CFM, 28dB at 12V. They're only $10 with your own custom choice of sleeving and heatshrink.

If that cooler is the sonic tower (cannot tell due to pix size) you need to be *very* careful of what fans you buy. I will explain:

Unless you mod the heatsink as I did by bending the fins array away from the center you will not be able to fit a 38mm thick fan in the center of the sink

The best you can use in the center is a 25-28mm fan. Most high powered 120mm fans are not this thin. So be careful as to what you buy.

Here is the configuration that I have, note that I modded the center to hold a fan in addition to pulling the array away from the center to fit a much larger 38mm thick device

Good point. The evercool aluminums are suppose to be pretty quiet.

http://www.svc.com/12aocalframc.html this is probably the best 120x25m fan i have ever used. if you want quietest, the sanyo fans are definatly some of the best.
I have had 2 of these evercools in my pc for 3 straight years, 24x7. they are still as silent at 7 and 5 volts as the day i baught them and do a great job of cooling my radiator.

i'm going with Yate Loons
i gust need to know wich to take? orange or blue?
5 for 3$ each, is just to good to be true

It is my understanding that the clear plastic of lit fans is softer and thus more subject to vibration noise. If silence is the goal the most quiet fans are the solid colored plastic. Also, I am not very trustful of manufacturers stated specs on fans. They tend to be self serving. That said, Yate Loon makes first rate fans. Good luck.

i love it
so silent, such good volts
