Anyone Else Own The D-LinK GamerLounge?

just grabbed mine today from Fry's... my god this thing is sweet. I was getting a measly 2.5MBS on my Netgear router, on this one.... 6.5mbs off my 10mbs comcast... WOOT!!! (thats with my dad on his pc taking bandwith)

so here's another question..

Anyone know how to setup a static IP using this dlink router? i knew how to do it with my netgear :9

are you using the lastest firmware?

ver. 1.5 as of now

static pppoe enabled and that odd dns problem fixed

and for just static go --> basic -> wan -> static


and the new firmware helps quite a bit vs the earlier versions (pre-1.4)

yes thats the first thing i did after getting my connection up. but thats not what i mean, i want to enable a static IP off my router on my pc, i dont get a static IP from my ISP

I think its DHCP Reservation, which allows me to set the IP on my PC and still get a non static from my ISP?
