My abit nf7-s rev 2.0 won't allow me to enable 8x & fast write... why??

My rig consits of

2500+ mobile
2 ocz platinum's 256 X 2
550w antec psu
9800xt
80gb western digital

What i'v already tried to fix my problem...

-set rig at default speed

-Checked bios configuration made sure both 8x was enabled and fast write was enabled

-reinstalled the ati driver and software catalyist

- enabling 8x in the smartgear optiopn upon restart... it retests upon start of and remains on off for the 8x option ... and fast write does not enable...

- reinstalled windows .. with sp2... framework as noted on the ati site... and latest catalyest...

- flashed bios...

I'm going crazy i can't figure it out ... please help anyone

did you install the nvidia chipset driver?

Don't use Fastwrite, it's horrible.......
