OMG !! this one is really grinding away.

I've been watching some of the Borgs fold a bit.

I just find it really amazing how much computing power
it takes for fold some of the protiens.

I've been randomly watching a Gromac @ home fold a 600 pt'r
It's just a chugg'n away. :)

Should've finished just after 7 this AM too.

I don't know, what can I say?

I'm hooked.

Any reason that rig isnt folding QMD's? You would get much more production out of it that way.

1809? donno.

It's what the server dished out to me is all.

I'd love to have all these Borgs running QMDs 24/7

Is there a "special" setting in the config file I need to set?

I have advmethods & big packets = yes.

One of the other Borgs have been getting the 7xx series WU's
mostly 31-100 pts. (752/753/761/762/770/771)

You should double check the fahlog.txt file. add the -verbosity 9 flag to see what is being reported to the AS. Ive never had a QMD configured box not get one.

Here's the thing.

Wedo's One click w/advmethonds, installed. (on A64 sys)

(I can copy my Intels FAH folder if ya think that'd work better)

Copy that file folder to Flash thumb drive.

Take to work, run off flash drive or copy to desktop. (mine only)

Run Console.

Fold away, 24/7. :D

Means I get the box to fold on, but none of the registry entries.

Config file is all I have to work with.

There's your problem. wedo's one click puts the flags in the registry. create a shortcut of the console. go to the properties of it and in the path add -local -advmethods -verbosity 9
That should fix you up. Then just always run the console from the shortcut. you can also create a shortcut with the flag -sendall to send in finished work.

A64's won't be issued any QMD's, on Intel rigs. Better to select bigpackets=yes and dump -advmethods.

I copied the FAH fold over to a flash drive, to borg Intel rigs @ work. :-/

Didn't think it mattered.

Now that I have flags set, I should be good to go.

Ah yes.. -advmethods will only put that in your local registry. By using a shortcut with the flags added you can easily do a workaround the registry...
