How to determine PSU manufacturer?

I have an HP 365w dual rail psu that I got with a dc7600 computer. I've been forced to use it since my Antec is giving me problems. The volt (DMM) readings I'm getting from this thing are rock solid 12.18 and it runs my system (sig) very nicely although I'm not overclocked all that much at the moment.

I was wondering who the OEM was for this thing as it seems like a pretty decent albeit cheap psu.

Look for a UL file number (should be under a backwards "UR" on the label) and plug it in at this website: http://database.ul.com/cgi-bin/XYV/template/LISEXT/1FRAME/gfilenbr.html

This should give you the OEM, although in some cases resellers have their own number (like Antec and Vantec), and won't actually trace to the OEM. Most of the time it works though.

Well my Antec number led me to: CHANNEL WELL TECHNOLOGY CO LTD of Taiwan.

The HP was: ACBEL POLYTECH INC also of Taiwan.

Not sure what this tells me except I know the ACBEL seems to be working better than the CHANNEL WELL
