Hey, I recently installed an XFX 6600GT AGP and seem to be getting some bad GPU temp readings from the Nvidia software. The GPU temp reads at idle around 80 C and goes well over 100 C when running games. SpeedFan shows the temp to be only around 40 C idle and when I touch the card it doesnt feel as hot as the Nvidea GPU temp readings indicate. I think it may be something to do with the software, not sure though.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to get the readings down or how to fix the bad readings from the Nvidia software.

I have video Bios 5.43.02.57 and driver 8.1.9.8

Thanks
