i have found a really cheap phase change cooler, but it is for a really old processer, is there any way to attach it to the radiator/resevoir of the WC setup (i havent got water cooling, i am getting it soon) i am not afraid of soldering (or rather my dad is handy with a soldering iron :p)
any suggestions welcome,

Any HVAC experience? What you'd want is to replace the evaporator with a heat exchanger, which would also take the place of a radiator in your water cooling loop. I'm not sure of all of the details in the process off the top of my head, but it's not easy to do. After you're done reading through the extreme cooling section here, check out the forums on www.xtremesystems.com, they do that sort of thing more often.
