Hey guys, I was just doing a new install and when installing Acrobat noticed that it had become the opposite of what it used to be. It used to be a slick LITTLE program that had a neat file format (PDF) and some nice features. Now it's this big fat installation that bugs you about installing toolbars and photo-albums and a lot of crap that isn't needed.
The point of creating this thread is NOT repeat NOT to give the Linux people a place to bash Windows or Firefox people to bash IE and vice versa nor anything else of the sort but to provide a place where we can list commonly used programs that have become bloated and a nice small program that will do the same thing quicker, smaller and more efficiently. Hopefully we can make this a sticky.
