"AMD Opteron 2xx (Santa Ana) is expected to be released in Q3. Santa Ana is a Dual Core, Revision F CPU targeted at Workstations on the Socket AM2 platform.

AMD Opteron 8xx (Santa Rosa) is expected to be released in Q3. Santa Rosa is the Socket F (1207 pin LGA interface) version of Santa Ana, targeted at the server market."

I quess they are out now, not much fan fare though.

Ya it does right now. But if im not mistaken, arent 65nm AMD cpu's suppose to pwn conroe ? The quad core chips ? ftw ?

The 1212 isn't that expensive. It's comparable to an opteron 170 which was around the same price as when I bought mine..
