I'm trying to connect an external hard drive to my computer, but Windows does not detect it. Windows also doesn't detect my slave HD. Other input things work like my clix and my printers. But the HD's dont. What is wrong?

Does you slave hdd (I'm assuming internal) show on the BIOS? Does it show in Windows Device Manager? If so the hdd works, but you need to go into disk management and assign it a drive letter.
