Hey, I just spent about $40 upgrading from my x1800xt flashed to PE speeds to a x1900xt. With everything at stock speeds the x1900xt only beat the x1800xt pe by 500 points on 3dMark 05... I was expecting a bit more than this. I know I can OC the x1900xt more, but I could have also OCed the x1800xt pe more... I am going to defrag again and try to run as clean as possible to bump up the score a bit but that is usually at max 200 points... This just goes to show me how good the x1800xt pe was... Talk about bang for the buck..

Any thoughts?

if you got a cpu to push it conroe 2.5 or up or amd dually 2.8 or up, you'll get about 2k diff in 05 at 690/800 on both cards

anywhere from 10,500-11,000 on the x1800xt and 12,500-13,000 on the x1900xt

i have a 3.0 capable 165 but havent benched with it on my new card. You are pretty accurate with that x1800xt score as I got about 10,600 with my opty at 2.8-3.0

Look forward to benching at 2.8ghz

if your cards are at 690/800 going higher on the cpu wont do much unless you clock the cards higher, just my experience with the 165's and x1900 at various clocks
