2 questions 4800+

First, here is the numbers on my CPU. I wanted to know how others were making out with it.

Second question. Ok when i try to restart my computer. It won't post (tried a bunch of voltage settings) BUT, if i kill the power (flip switch on PSU) Then turn it back on. It boot EVERTIME. Anyone ever had this problem? All of my info is in my sig.

Anyone know a list of steppings for AMD? I tried google (even tho i SUCK trying to find stuff there) That will let me know what all the numbers mean?

I have a question, wtf is stepping?? is it overclocking?

Something in the numbers on the front of the cpu.. week codes? ... some are better than others.. was just wondering what exactly i got...
