I am wanting to go wireless on the 360 but do not want to spend 100 for the adapter. Is there other options??

Yes, you can get a wireless bridge/gaming adapter and share it with multiple consoles via a router. I have seen one as cheap as $60 at Best Buy but could not find it on their website.
