why is it bad if your htt goes past 1000? will if hurt anything if you do,such as performance?

You won't hurt performance, but it really isn't needed. Anything between 800 and 1000 is fine. It may, however, create excess heat and potentially limit your OCability over 1000.

makes sense so keep it less than 1000?
