Ok just got this E4300 in on a sweet deal.
Read the review at Legion .
Does anyone know if the E4300 is locked and will not go past 386fsb??
They did not say in the review. They do say at the end of the article that they did not see a ny point running up the FSB to 500 like the E6300.
Ok let me get this straight.
8x500=4000mhz x2 (not significant??????)
I think my SLI rig would love that.Don't you?

I would assume the 9x multi would be better way to go.
Can't you step back one multi ti 8x like the rest of the CPU's?

I'm using a Gigabyte DS3 to play around with this E4300 .Will post more results as i get them.

Anyone got to play with one yet.

Seems like a lot of them are topping out at 3.3 to 3.4 gig, but I saw one guy in another forum hit something like 3.8 gig.

From what I've heard, the E4300's aren't going to be doing 4Ghz. I've heard they top out at closer to 3Ghz on average
I now unfortunatley have to agree.:bang head

Giga DS3 rev 1
E4300 @ 2.8 350x8 with 1.405v
mem running at 700mhz

now what is strange is the clock generators maybe off CPUZ reports 2800mhz

Windows and Orthos reporting 3150mhz.

Hmmmm strange.
Going to water on it this weekend.Goin to Volt it till it hurts.(insert Doctor Evils Laugh)
Will post more when available
