Mozilla culling Firefox extensions from website

It seems that with the upcoming upgrade to Firefox (v. 3.0), that the Mozilla foundation is going to trim its lineup of Firefox extensions. Some of the add-ons that are rarely downloaded or otherwise no longer supported--or even no longer work--are going to be removed from https://addons.mozilla.org .

So, if you wanted to experiment with some more of the obscure Firefox extensions, you'd better go get them soon (before next Monday)!
