Thanks!!

What PSU have you got? I'm not to familiar with the Winchester core, but I know you need a good, stable PSU to get a good overclock.

sorry for the late reply ,
yes i have a 700W OCZ power stream, planing on getting the newest one soon.

I would need help when it comes to oc'ing ram.. not to sure what to do there, it'd be good if someone could priovide some info or tuts regarding my pc specs , i dont use watercooling , but as u can see above my cpu aitn heating up to bad at 13x216fsb seams to be working good and super stable... let me know thanks

well, 8% overclock isn't a huge amount, but its almost 10% so you'd probaly see a benifit. The ram does not appear to be overclocked much currently.

Ram can be pretty touchy because there is multiple chips. Basically each chip will be a single bit, all 8 chips together make a byte. Some of the chips will handle higher speeds than others. This is why it is important to test the entire memory range of RAM when overclocking it. Also, RAM usually does not see huge overclocks like CPU's. Recommendation is to keep the RAM voltage within the specifications of the module. As far as the CPU is concerned, make sure you test the CPU with CPU stress tests and keep the voltage and tempuratures within acceptable ranges.

By looking at what you have now, to me everything appears to be within acceptable ranges, i'd say that it is somewhat likely to be stable, but you should run some duel core stress testing on the CPU to be sure. If you have crashing or instability, make sure to test the memory also if you cannot rule out the CPU.

You do have your ram set to 5, 5, 5 ,12 but the chip reports 5,5,5,15- so you might want to consider changing the 12 to a 15 before you start trying to OC the memory. I think memory OCing is harder than OCIng a CPU because there is more settings and alot of additional testing required.

thanks for your reply , and yes my ram is set to 5-5-5-15 witch is Default , my ran is not overclocked at all , dont know where to start to oc it.. but changing 15 to 12 wouldent that be better ? as for the cpu i did some burn in test multiple times.. max heat was 57 and rock solid.. these are my mem timings if u guys have any sugestions...

by looking at the screenshots , witch settings should i use , overclock 1 ,2 or 3 .. so far all of them seams to be stable but maby need more testing..
let me know plz on witch one looks to be better.

thanks.

that bottom ones looking the best, but try some cpu benchie's aswell like superpi you could also give aquamark a try since its cpu/ram dependant

in aquamark are these scroes good? first time i ever use aquarmark 3 , i doubt those scores are good .. and nvidia drivers at the moment sucks bad..

this is all by using FSB 230 x12 With windows Vista and Nvidia BETA crap drivers
also Aquamark as issues with vista it crashed a few times befor i finnaly got to run it all. I'll try again tomorow with other settings, i wish i knew how to change the Ram setting's like ( 5-5-5-15 ) to better values.!
