mpeg problem

ok for some reason all of my mpeg video is playing in black and white. wmvs display fine but mpegs are all black and white and most of these ive had a long time and know there in color. this just started since my most recent windows reinstall. any have any ideas./

What program is associated with MPEG's, and which OS are you running?

windows media player 7 on windows 2k sp4

ok i just downloaded wmp9 and its still happening. this is so odd i just dont know why its doing that.
