Hi, I just built myself a fancy new computer yesterday. It consists of the following parts:

ASUS m2n-sli deluxe
x2 Seagate SATA 500 GIG hdd
Evga 8800 GTX
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
KWORLD PCI HDtv Tuner Card
CORSAIR XMS2 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 800
LITE-ON 20X DVD±R DVD Burner with LightScribe SATA

Every time I install Windows Vista x64 Home Premium, it finishes the install then restarts and errors. Both hdds are fine. I've tested the ram and that's ok too. So I was wondering if you had any idea's on how to get this bad boy to fire up.

use XP?

i just built a rig very similar to that one, put vista ultimate on there... it did nothing but crash every few hours. and that was with only vista and drivers installed.

are you running the 2 harddrives in a raid config?

I've got it working. It was the DVD drive. It was too new to use in the installation of windows vista. Thanks for the help though
