XP wants me to re-register

My power supply went out so I switched over to a different power supply hooked everything back up, sata drives i think were put in different slots and now xp is saying my config has changed I need to re-register. I have heard of this with vista and my dual boot vista did not make me but xp is making me. Just thought yall might like to know this is happening with xp too

It happens. For some, a new sound card can cause a re-register request. For others, nothing short of a complete system replacement causes a re-register request.
