Fasterfox speedtest results

A quick speedtest to show the effects of fasterfox on top of a firefox browser:

FF alone:


FF+Fasterfox


As you can see there is a difference (Although it is only 20ish kbps). As fasterfox is a free plugin I would recommend it just for the small performance increase.

Then again the difference could be due to many other factors seeing as its so small

I use to run it, I didn't notice much of a difference browsing the few pages i do, but I think it is quite helpful in the long run I'd also recommended it

betcha if you run it many times the difference will average out

I got that feeling too But cba to uninstall and reinstall fasterfox lots lol.

Fasterfox doesn't affect your throughput, it affects the processing of html/xml, etc...

who says you have to uninstall? Just run it a bunch of times at different times during the day
