Hello everybody, after using a mac for a while the one thing i miss is the magnetic power adapter. I feel as if my power adapter for my Compaq laptop is gona break off each time i push it in. I tried to do some research and it seems nobody has done this:confused: If this is possible i will do this on my laptop and post plenty of pictures. But first there are a couple of questions i need to know

1. Does the Voltage and Amps a regular pc power adapter provide the same as a macbooks?

2. If macbook's voltage is higher can i add some resisters in the case to lower the voltage?

3. My power adapter is next to my video card and right under my screen (top left of my laptop kyboard ) will the magnets affect the screen (like the crt's?) of the video card ?

If i can get all the bugs worked out this would be an awsome project
