how do i change the voltage to my cpu? my bios says max is 1.4..... and thats the defauld...wat if i wanted 1.5?? are there any programs?

amd athlon 64 4200+ Dual core
3gb ram ddr2 ( 4 stikS)
200gb sata2 hdd
650w psu
asrock alive-xfire esata2 motherboard.....ami legal bios...

To tell you how to change it, we need more information such as what CPU and motherboard you are running. Please give us a full list of specs for your computer. ;)

To vaguely answer your question, no. Unless your motherboard comes with software specifically made to change the voltage of the processor, it must be done in the BIOS.
