p35 vs 680I

whats the best chip set i can't seem to dig up any reviews on the p35

i just want a machine that has lots of memory band width and fast fps for gaming 8800gt will be the video card and an e6600 will be my chip

yeah, if your going to look between an Nv chipset and an Intel chipset - thats should be the only question.

SLI or no SLI

SLi = yes = 680i or 780i
SLi = No = Intel Board.
 
With one videocard it is P35. There are a lot of P35 boards availible, and they clock much better than 680i. My P5K is much better than my old 680i board.
 
I have a p35-ds3r and like it a lot.

mine also runs at 450fsb without touching vMCH

ds4 has better cooling, firewire, and 2 physical 16x slots (one elec. 4x obviously being a p35) but costs more

DS4 also carries a 6 phase pwm voltage system for the cpu. ds3r/ip35-e/ip35/ip35-pro carry a 4 phase pwm.
