can somebody help me how to increase my fsb rate?
proc=intel P4 HT 2.8 Ghz/prescott
mobo=Abit I-45C
ram= 1024Ghz (visipro)
GPU=colorful 128mb/128 bit with nvidia 6600LE

I have no clue with P4 chips but should be the same as c2d and the like. Anyway, first enter the BIOS and find an "advance option" or fsb/bus freq. section. This is to allow you to clock the cpu higher.

You mentioned "safely" earlier on but unfortunately, there is no such thing. You just have to increase 5mhz of bus speed at a time.

There are some great stickies in this forum. Take a look at those. What I've mention is just a general idea.
