Hey guys im in the process of a new build and am looking for a good place to get a CM 690. I checked out newegg and they have it for $70 plus shipping it'll be around $100. Was wondering if you guys knew of a place i could snag one up
for cheaper than that? Plus i need some good ideas of a good 750W power supply for that case. Id appreciate all the input. Thanks.

You can get a CM 590 for a bit cheaper. It has practically the same setup as the 690, but a different looking front panel, and also the hard drive cage is positioned differently for a bit better airflow. Also it doesn't have a bottom fan hole. I love this case. :)

CM690 is $70 as well rather than $85 on newegg.

Oh, as for PSUs. I'm pretty sure the majority would recommend a Corsair. >.>

Well a few people suggested PC Power & Cooling and Seasonic, never really looked into Corsair. This is my first build so idk which PSU to get. If it helps heres whats prob going into the case:

Abit Ip35 Pro
Core 2 Quad Q6600 G0 stepping
Xigmatek Rifle CPU cooler
EVGA 8800 GTS (G92)
2 GB G. Skill DDR 800 ( gift, prob get 2 more gigs)
Seagate Barracuda 320 gig (is IDE, got it as a gift also)

Let me know what you guys think.

Im also looking to burn CD's and DVD's, what would u suggest?

Corsair is Seasonic and CWT. I believe the TX series is made by Seasonic. Not sure what I would recommend for DVD drives though. My Samsung is pretty loud at times so I don't think I'd recommend it..

I can say that the Xigmatek is a very nice heatsink though. I just recently bought it, and I'm currently up to 2.9ghz on my E6300, and I haven't gone above 43c while stress testing. Going for 3.0ghz soon. :)

Either the Corsair or PCP&P. You will none stop praise for both of those brands. As for the 690 I don't live in the US so I don't know any of the sites. But what I can tell you is I have the case and its a pleasure to work with and nice to look at.
