Hi,
I am after a PSU to fit into my (new) CoolerMaster Elite 331 case.
I think its a standard fitting.

I am after,
UNDER £50 (inc VAT and postage)

enough power to run an 8800GT 512miB
enough power to run a pentium D 820 ( soon to be Q6600)
realtively quiet, almost inaudbile at 1m, from under a desk
reliable
perhaps partially modular (but not needed)

I am thinking of:
Corsair Memory 450W ATX PS/2 SATA 12V
(http://www.dabs.com/productview.asp...59&PageMode=1&NavigationKey=11259,48870000,11)
OCZ Technology PC POWER & COOLING 470W SILENCER ATX PSU (http://www.dabs.com/productview.asp...59&PageMode=1&NavigationKey=11259,48870000,11)
OCZ Technology 500W STEALTHXSTREAM POWER SUPPLY
(http://www.dabs.com/productview.asp...59&PageMode=1&NavigationKey=11259,48870000,11)

Any other ideas would be massively appreciated.

Corsair gives you the most bang punch for the pound on the 12v rail where you'll need it most. :)

so the corsair then?
any other ones for under £50 that you know of to be good?
if not, I'll buy it tonight

What you listed are all decent but the Corsair is the best of the three, it puts out more amps on the 12v rail and it's quiet!
