Hey guys. I recently built a system using an EVGA GeForce 9600 for video duties. Trouble is, whenever I try to run at a resolution above 1024x768 I have problems. for example in Battlefield 2 the screen goes black for short periods. its like the card just stops output. It happens frequently and can be induced by rapidly panning the view around in the game.
Same problem occurs just when watching a video within windows, fulscreen or not.
It also happens when running the Nvidia stability test, after just a few seconds.
The system is AMD64x2 6400+, Asus M2N-SLI Nforce 560, 2 GB Ram, 500W power supply.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this. I would love to hear thoughts and suggestions.
