i need MAJOR partition help

partition 1 is just a recovery one

partitions 2 and 3 are the ones i NEED to be booting from because it has everything i need and such

partion 4 is the one i'm on now and i plan on formatting it and then deleting it and adding the unallocated space to partition 2/3 afterwards

but i need to be able to boot from partition 2/3 and i don't know how. i tried to do it from a boot manager but the recovery thing started up when i did

someone told me i need to modify boot.ini but i have no idea what to modify

According to the Diskpart info you posted, the only Primary partition is partition #4... which w/ the drive in it's current state, is the only partition that's bootable. Partition #2 is an Extended partition which contains a Logical partition, neither of which is bootable.
