ATi drivers and WinXP??

Ok before making the switch over to WinXP from WinME, my Radeon VE was hitting 207/207 with no extra cooling(was getting 2400+ on 3DMark2K1). Now with WinXP (2000+ on 3DMark2K1) I can get the core that high but I can barely get the memory up to 190!. Could it be WinXP or the ATi drivers for WinXP? I even tried using the Omega drivers and saw very little improvement. Someone pleez help me!

Is your score lower or higher? XP runs better so your card might not oc as far because its running more effeciently.
