After doing some searching with no results i am looking to mod a server power supply that lacks a connection i need. Here is what i am trying to do...

available on a power supply that lacks one.AM i able to modify a 4 pin molex if so how, the cables on the 4pin for the MB are yellow and black and the ones on the power supply are Red, black, black, yellow.

That is a P4 12V aux connector, you are looking for a molex to p4 adapter such as

both yellow wires are 12V lines, both black wires are Grounds....

to be clear, this plugs into the seperate 4 pin socket on the motherboard, not next to the ATX main connector.
