Finally took some time today to get my new rig to 4ghz, I did a couple of benchmarks along the way to see how much of a difference I would get at 3.1 , 3.8, and 4.0

wPrime Results:
3.1ghz = 24.149sec on 32M test
3.8ghz = 19.593sec on 32M test
4.0ghz = 18.547sec on 32M test

3DMark 06 Results:
3.1ghz & 690/1128 = 13428
3.8ghz & 690/1128 = 14102
4.0ghz & 690/1128 = 14280

Overall I'm pretty happy with a performance gained so far, but this just want's me to keep pushing this thing to see how far I can get it, and be stable of course.

I tried the 445x9 and 333NB Strap, and ran wPrime 3 times, the best time I got was 18.688sec for 32M Test, just slightly slower then 421x9.5

Ok, one question, in the 32M test,how do you get 18 seconds? Is that just the first iteration? Or are you really running the 1M test?

GOod luck on getting much past 4Ghz.

Thanks for the support, I am not concered at all as far as getting it past 4ghz, especially since I am running my 4ghz with only a 1.28VCore. I still have ALOT of headroom to play with, loving this mobo the more I learn about it

Some new & better numbers at 4.2ghz :attn:

wPrime Results:
3.1ghz = 24.149sec on 32M test
3.8ghz = 19.593sec on 32M test
4.0ghz = 18.547sec on 32M test
4.2ghz = 17.238sec on 32M test

3DMark 06 Results:
3.1ghz & 690/1128 = 13428
3.8ghz & 690/1128 = 14102
4.0ghz & 690/1128 = 14280
4.2ghz & 690/1128 = 14461

I'm pretty happy with my temps as well especially since it is all air-cooled for the time being,

Idle: 33*C
Load: 46*C
