Taking another physics, need to print out circuit diagrams

Well as the title says, this prick wont stand for very neat drawings done with rulers / compass. He has to have computer printouts. What is a decent program to do this with ? Does Visio do it ? I can get it for CHEAP from school.

I've always used visio, it does the basics very well. I'm guessing you don't require chips in your schematic since its for physics, but the Xilinx schematic drawer works well for custom chip packages.
