extending power supply cables

Is there any down side to doing this? Im Looking at tripling the lenght of he cables, so this do anything bad to the power supplies. I know cable has some resistance but I'm hoping it's negliable.

Nope, nothing wrong with that. I've done it several times without any issues. Just remember to do them 1 at a time and follow the colors. This is a double measure of safety so you don't cross any wires and fry something ;)

Pain in the butt clipping/splicing/soldering/heatshrinking each wire, but it's fun and will keep you really busy for quite sometime, lol.
