Hi all,
I have the Acer Ferrari 1100 notebook, got it at a very good price,
Am planning to add more RAM to it from 2G to 4G.
The laptop specs are.
Chipset : AMD M690T
Proc : Turion X2 TL-66 2.3Ghz
It has current 2gig of PC5300 667Mhz RAM installed, would there be any performance benefit if I go with a PC2-6400 800Mhz RAM.
Google states that the FSB for the board is 800Mhz, so i would guess there should be an improvement.
The RAM sticks am getting have a CL of 6, would that matter over the higher Mhz.
Am a bit confused and looking for some ideas.
