Fan speed with PSU

Just a simple question: If you plug a fan directly into the PSU, will it run at max speed?

Noise doesn't bother me at all, and I prefer to keep my motherboard connections open, I only plug something into a mobo power connector if I need to adjust it, however, as far as my fans go, I want them running at max all the time because the case needs the airflow.

Yes. The 3pin to molex connector does that.
