memory setting on gigabyte m720-us3

Hi all need help again just upgraded memory to Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 8500C5 1066MHz kit. now need to know how to set to run at 1066. the hw monitor says max band width is pc2-6400 (400mhz).
do i have to use the bios as i've been in at its says its running on auto.

is that in the bios ? should i also increase the voltage to 2.1v ?

Yes, it's located under MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.)--> DRAM Configuration. Just leave DDR2 Voltage Control on Normal for the time being, but make sure to run Memtest86+ prior to attempting to boot into the OS at that DRAM frequency.

done as you said redduc it came back no errors what next m8?
 
You're all set... the modules are currently running at DDR2-1066 (533MHz as shown in the DRAM Frequency field of CPU-Z). Assuming the rated timings are 5-5-5-15 at 533MHz, you might want to tighten both tRCD and tRP from the current 7 to 5.
