Since I created a RAID 0 array consisting of two identical 40GB IBM hard disks, the System Restore feature will not work in Windows XP Professional. I get a message saying:

"System Restore encountered an error trying to enable/disable one or more drives. Please restart your machine and try again"

Restarting makes no difference, the error message appears again.

I am using a HPT370 RAID controller with the 2.3 BIOS, version 2.3 drivers (installed during Windows XP setup by pressing F6) and the 2.3 RAID administrator. Abit SA6R motherboard. 512MB RAM.

Anyone else experienced this and found a fix?
Anyone any suggestions?

I'll let you know, I'm just about to install XP myself, stripe is already built. HD specs are as below. RAID control is on-board Promise on mobo.
