or

OCZ Platinum OCZ3P1600LV6GK 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 PC3-12800 CL 7-7-7-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit

Mostly im talking about timings what is bteter??? the 6-8-6 or the 7-7-7

What is faster ... OCZ 7-7-7-x for sure but Mushkins will make higher clocks. Just don't expect too much as many configs won't handle anything above 2000 memory in tripple channel or you will have to give really high voltages.

Best are Super Talents on Elpida chips that can run 1600 with really low timings and can pass 2000 without problems.
Mushkins are on PSC chips what means higher tRCD and for x58/i7 setup it's main timing so all 7-7-7 will beat any PSC kit that won't make less than tRCD 8 on 1600 ( I have 1600 7-7-7 OCZ kit at home and 2x PSC so it's based on something )

here you have PSC chips and performance with CL6 and CL8 ( A-Data kits but the same is inside these Mushkins ):

2000 6-9-6

2000 8-9-8
In every run scores are a bit different but usually almost the same so cl6-8-6-x will be almost as fast as 8-8-8-x on x58 platform.

My 2000-8-8-8 supertalent kit will run (is running...) happily at 1600-7-7-7 on 1.52 volts (rated at 1.65). At 1.65v it'll do 1600-6-6-6.

Are you saying that out of these two the corsair will run better at 1600 7cas than the Gskill?

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Probably both kits will run the same on 1600 but I'm not 100% sure about chips inside. Corsair is making kits on different chips so can be or Elpida BBSE or similar, or PSC. G.Skill is making most new kits on PSC but Tridents were on Elpida so in this case I can't say much. Better get kit that will be closer to your expectations and later just count on some oc. For oc 2000+ kits are not always better as i7/x58 architecture won't let you go much above 2000 keeping memory controller stable. 2000 memory means 4000 uncore while many cpus won't pass 4100 stable and some not even 4000. If you get gulftown then ok 2000+ is good idea but for bloomfields good 1600 are better because when you pass ~205 bclk then you will have to drop memory multi anyway or go for really high QPI/ICH voltages.

My 2000-8-8-8 supertalent kit will run (is running...) happily at 1600-7-7-7 on 1.52 volts (rated at 1.65). At 1.65v it'll do 1600-6-6-6.

My old OCZ kit on Qimonda chips is running at about 1600 7-6-5-18 1T and so far is beating PSC 2000 6-9-6-x in most tests ;)
I can't get Super Talents in Poland and with shipping it will cost too much so I decided on PSC some time ago and so far I'm not complaining but I can't even try max clocks because of weak IMC in my both cpus.
