A book or word on freon cooling systems?

Happy day, oh happy day! I just got word from my best friend that his Mom is remodelling her kitchen, along with everything else, she is getting rid of her fridge for a double door model. This is a large full sized refridgerator.... and I get it for the cooling setup!! I'm so excited.

What I want to know is does anyone know the title of a good book, written for non-refer techs, that will explain stuff such as: Do the lines on the hot side have to be the same length as the lines on the cold side? How many pounds of pressure usually goes inside the system?

Just the basics, you know? If ya have time to help it is appreciated. Keep cooling and stay healthy!
