need powersupply help ASAP!

ok guys im going to msy on tuesday to buy my computer parts however the psu i was planning to get has sold out and i need a alternative i was going to get the Corsair vx-550 and the next one up is the Corsair TX-650 ATX
however is this a good psu? will it connect to these parts?

Lol, don't worry, everything is standardized, as long as you get a desktop power supply, all the connectors will fit. And the 650TX is a great power supply, it will easily run a Phenom II X4/X6 and a 6850 with ease.

That Corsair is perfectly fine for what you are asking of it, and then some.

I am running 650-850's in most of my rigs and I have yet to have any issues or complaints. Corsair sells some almost bulletproof PSU's

Corsair is probably the most recommended PSU at the moment, I have the 520 model and only wish i'd bought a highewr power one. I would go for the 650watt model or maybe even a 750 model for future proofing if you can afford it
