autodesk maya 2012

core i5 2500k and a 4gb ram , gpu gtx 460 this is good for autodesk maya 2012?

Shouldn't be a problem, my brother runs Maya on i5 750, 2x2GB DDR3-1600 8-8-8-24, and HD6750.

3D graphics needs mostly RAM. Lots of it and needs fast connection between the RAM and CPU. So considering you have a Core i5 processor, that uses DMI bus, its OK. Some time ago I also was fascinated by 3D graphics, unfortunately I has't talanted. So I gave up quickly .
