ASUS VG236HE for $312 is the VG236H without the 3D kit. The way I see it, one can get this monitor and always upgrade to 3D in the future.
Must haves for me
23-24"
Around $300, unless the increase in price is justified
120mhz
HDMI input
2ms
1920 x 1080
1080P
Able to upgrade to 3D in the future (still not sold on this, as glasses suck)
Slight to no input lag, must be a gaming monitor
No ghosting or dead pixels

I don't think there is any other monitor for $300 that has these features that I'm looking for with the ability to upgrade to 3D in the future. Sure it may be a little glossy, but it has a very solid review.

I'm fairly sold based on the many positive reviews, but before I pull the trigger, can anyone justify the Dell U2410's higher price tag for $540 when this monitor meets the criteria I'm looking for? I don't mind spending more, but not if the cost isn't justified when I'm going to mainly be using this monitor for gaming, and FPS gaming at that.
Also if there is a better 2D monitor that doesn't have the option to go 3D but will have less input lag for under $300, please point me in that direction.
