I built a new PC last weekend and actually came in under budget for once.

Here's what's in the build as of right now:

M/B: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD4
CPU: i7 2600K
RAM: 16GB Corsair Dominator RAM
SSD: 2x OCZ Agility 60GB SSDs
PSU: Seasonic 1000W Platinum
GFX: Gigabyte HD 7970
CASE: Corsair 650D

I've got a few mdpc sleeving kits laying around too.
I found this build and am creaming myself over it: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=211713&page=3

It just so happens to be very similar to mine, so I figured I'd use his loop as a template for mine.
Here's what he's using:

CPU: Ek Supreme HF Nickel/plexi
GPU: EK Nickel/plexi
RAD: EK XTC 280.
Pump: Alphacool VPP65
Rez: IandH Stealth rez
12mm EK compression fittings

Here's my cart right now (@FCPU):

They don't have the EK rad, so I was thinking of going with the Black Ice Stealth GT 280. I'm also considering the EK pump/res combo for simplicity's sake. I thought it'd make my first go at liquid a bit easier.

I'm ready to order this stuff and start reading manuals, etc. I just need to figure out the following:
which angle fittings and how many?
what size tubing?
is the ek vga backplate necessary or purely cosmetic?
what brand tubing and what size?
is the ek ltx supreme cpu block still up to date?
anything else I might be overlooking.

Thanks for reading and helping me spend my money wisely :)
I'm still doing a lot of research on the topic, but I'm more of a hands on learner.

Just the one 280 rad for a CPU and GPU? You sure about that? What do your heatload calculations show?
