I'm having some problems overclocking Northbridge, I have latest BIOS and have disabled all the "green settings".

On default 2200 MHz this motherboard uses 1.21 V for NB. If I up NB to 2400, BIOS NB voltage auto setting uses 1.40 V. If I change NB to 2600, auto setting ups voltage to 1.45 V. On 2200 and 2400 NB is stable on prime with 1.21 & 1.40 V. However 2600 MHz isn't stable even with 1.45 V. I manually tried to up the voltage to 1.48 V but still got errors in prime. This was with LLC disabled, LLC hight/extreme didn't help.

I started to wonder if 2400 MHz is as far as this motherboard goes. Also the default voltages seem a bit high to me on auto setting. Or is it common in ASUS AM3+ boards to get NB stable at 2600 MHz only over 1.45 V? Or has anyone even got it to 2600 MHz with FX-8120/8150?

Just found Asus Sabertooth 990FX specifications state max voltage for CPU/NB is 1.875V. I guess it's safe to go over 1.50V with M5A99X?
