Pretty sweet deal or am I missing something?

256 GB Samsung SSD 830 Series $189.99 with promo code from the egg.

May pull the trigger on a few of these so I just want to make sure they are decent drives.

Really good drive for that price imo. Search around some review sites, the drive does well.

Yes, the Samsung 830 shares the number one spot with the Intel 520 as the best drive on the market.

bought a couple to add to my rig to replace an aging 750GB hitachi drive. That will give me a 120GB ssd + 2*256 so I should be good to go.
