I want to sleeve wires for pci-e connectors. i got adapters but it makes wires very long and messssyyy. Can i do this instead?

Sure. As long as the pins have the correct voltage on them, they don't care what route is taken to get there.

If you're good with soldering and stuff, just split all of the wires right at the base of the connector. Then check the voltages, as Bobnova said.
