Hi I have two computers connected by two LAN cards directly to each other, the one w/ modem is running IP: 192,168,0,1 and the seconds IP: 192,168,0,2 Mask on both is 255,255,255,0.

On the second comp the gateway and the DNS (?) are both set to 192.168.0.1.

When I run Quake3Arena and start a game, the other computer always tried to connect to the internet first, and then it starts the game, I was wondering what should I do to make it stop, I don't want to remove/return the ICS all the time manually. Can you help.
I don't know much about LAN, I just know how to hook the comp up and make it work, nothing else. So please help
Every suggestion will be highly apriciated.

set gateway to 192.168.0.1 and leave DNS blank.
set comp a ip to 192.168.0.2
set comp b ip to 192.168.0.3

So where is the gateway? Nothing has an IP of 192.168.0.1 so the packets have no idea how to get out of his little network.
