Hi all,

I'm thinking of building a rheobus but I have a few questions.

Firstly I have a heap of double pole switches about 75 of the little buggers and too many LEDs to count. there was a mess up with my order and I came out the better!!! :D

I want to get rid of some leds by using them all over my PC!

I'm not going for 12v/7v cos my old crappy psu can't stick the heat!

Instead I'm going Rheo!

What I really want to know is is there some to wire up LEDs to a rheostat so that from 0 to about half ways on the turn one LED is lit, and as you turn it up higher a second LED will light!!!
Possibly divide it into 3.

Be kinda a cheapo Tacho for fans!!! :D

Hope all the electrical geniuses out there can help, *HOOT*!

There probably is a way using resistors, but I'm learning this stuff myself, so I can't help you out.

Cool!!!

Thx Mate,

That saves me a lot of work!
I was thinking of using lots of transistors!!!!!

I must keep a look out for a bar indicator like in the second link!

Once again cheers, Time for the credit card!
